Piers Morgan

John Terry

James Haskell
Former England rugby player
“I knew their reputation for delivering serious body transformations and I was ready for the challenge. This time, I wanted to see how lean I could really get. I’d just turned 40 and it all lined up perfectly. Working with James and the team took it to another level. I’d done shoots before FHM, Gay Times, Attitude, GQ but never trained for them. I’d just wandered in off the pitch. This time, I wanted to see how lean I could really get. Injury midway through (yes, tore a bicep off the bone), DJ sets in Monaco, Wales and Exmouth, no carbs, late nights, dad duties it was full-on. But I loved every bit of it. ROAR built a plan around me, my goals, my injuries, my madness. They kept me focused, challenged me, and saw me through. If you want serious results and a team that knows exactly how to get you there ROAR is the one. Can’t wait to take on the next challenge. Let’s see how far we can go.”
ROAR When Sarah first mentioned to James about doing something with ROAR, he jumped at the chance.

Millie Mackintosh
TV personality and author
“I’ve always enjoyed exercising, but it was about 10 years ago that I decided to try strength training. Initially, I was hesitant, I found the idea quite daunting and intimidating – not to mention the muscle soreness I experienced the next day! But as with many aspects of life (annoying, I know), I discovered that consistency really is key. With regular practice, it didn’t take long for me to notice improvements and with each session leaving me feeling stronger, I quickly fell in love with weight training! Here’s a few reasons why strength training is beneficial for women: It helps to build muscle strength & tone. Beyond aesthetic changes, everyday tasks become easier, and there’s a sense of achievement that comes with being stronger. It has been shown to improve mental health by reducing symptoms of depression & anxiety. It can also boost self-esteem & mood. It can help in managing symptoms associated with menopause, like mood swings, weight gain, & decreased bone density. Post-pregnancy, strength training can help women regain abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, and improve energy levels. I’m sharing this today to hopefully encourage any of you who are interested in starting strength training to pick up the weights – start small with light weights and low reps & watch yourself get stronger with each session, the endorphin hit is like no other! I’ve learned that gyms are often welcoming environments, filled with people who are more than willing to offer help and guidance. The most important step is to simply start. As always, make sure to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise, especially if you have any existing health concerns. Thanks for keeping me strong Roar!”

Tom Brown

From the ROAR teamTom Brown is the perfect example of not using “I don’t have enough time” as an excuse. He owns two restaurants and is a chef in both daily, yet still manages to fit in his commitment to his fitness goals. This hour allows him to completely zone out of his chef lifestyle and focus on himself. He had previously found gyms quiet intimidating despite having a good amount of fitness knowledge, so Roar has been the perfect medium for him. It’s not only kept him out of chef lifestyle habits such as having a drink after work, but it makes Tom put in that extra 20% of effort into each training session

She took me under her wing and guided me through the learning process of how to train, eat and live like an athlete. Even though I was her direct competitor Sarah cheered me on every day, pushed me when I was tired and picked me up when I fell. She fully embraced everything sport has to throw at you and gave me the confidence to make the right choices, commit to them and execute them with conviction. When I travel to London Roar Fitness is the only place that has the facilities and trainers that live up to Olympic standards.”
