Performance, Recovery
and Longevity
One personal trainer plans your training, nutrition and recovery, and measures how your body responds, so you perform well now and stay strong as you get older.

Sustainable Lifestyle Habits
Many of our clients are not chasing a dramatic transformation. They want better health and fitness, a clear understanding of how to train and eat, and habits that hold up in a busy life.
Your programme still centres on getting stronger and fitter in the gym. Your trainer then adds practical changes to how you eat, sleep and manage stress, one step at a time, so they become part of your normal week rather than a short-term plan.

How Your Programme Works
Everything starts with a clear baseline, so your trainer can measure what changes over time.
Free Consultation
Meet a Roar personal trainer at our City of London, Kensington or Downtown Dubai gym. You talk through your goals, your health, your training history and what a normal week looks like for you.
Assessment
Your trainer takes a seca body composition analysis, which breaks your weight down into muscle, fat and body water, and runs a movement assessment to see how you squat, hinge, push and pull.
Lifestyle Review
You look at sleep, stress, working hours, travel and how you eat day to day. These shape how well you recover, so they shape the plan.
Your Training Plan
Your plan combines strength work, conditioning and mobility, with every session coached one to one. The balance between them depends on your goals and what your body needs.
Nutrition and Recovery
Your trainer sets practical nutrition targets around foods you enjoy, and plans rest days and lighter weeks so you keep progressing without wearing yourself out.
Progress Reviews
You repeat the seca analysis and movement checks at regular reviews, compare them with your baseline and agree the next phase with your trainer.
Habits That Last
How lean, strong or fit you aim to be is your choice, and your trainer plans around it. Staying very lean in your 40s and 50s is achievable if it is a high priority, while many clients prefer a level they can hold comfortably all year. Either way, the aim is training and eating habits you keep long after your programme ends.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most about performance, recovery and longevity training. Anything else, ask us at your free consultation.
What is performance, recovery and longevity training?
It is one-to-one personal training planned for your long-term health as well as your goals today. Your trainer combines strength, conditioning, mobility, nutrition and recovery, and tracks your progress with regular seca body composition readings.
What does a seca body composition analysis measure?
A seca analysis breaks your body weight down into fat mass, muscle mass and body water. It shows whether you are losing fat and keeping muscle, which the scale alone cannot tell you, so your trainer can adjust the plan with real numbers.
Is this programme suitable if I am over 50?
Yes. Many of our clients start in their 50s and 60s. Your trainer adapts every exercise to your joints and history, and builds strength, balance and fitness at a pace your body can handle.
How often will I train?
Most clients train two or three times a week with their trainer. Your plan also covers what you do on the other days, such as walking, mobility work and sleep.
Where can I train with Roar?
At our private gyms in the City of London, Kensington and Downtown Dubai. Read more about personal training in London and personal training in Dubai, or train with us remotely through online personal training.
