Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Roar Fitness (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at roar-fitness.com (the “Site”), what each of them does, and how you can control them. It applies to everyone who visits the Site, whether you train with us in London, in Dubai, or online.
Roar Fitness is the trading name of Roar Fitness Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09449035, with its registered office at 4th Floor Tuition House, 27-37 St George’s Road, Wimbledon, London, SW19 4EU. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data more generally.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or device when you visit a website. The website reads them on later visits, which helps it work properly, remember your choices, and tell the website owner how it is being used.
We also use similar technologies that work in a comparable way, and this policy covers them too:
- Pixels and tags: small pieces of code that tell us when a page has been viewed or an enquiry has been sent, or that someone who saw one of our adverts has visited the Site.
- Local storage: information saved in your browser, similar to a cookie, that a website can read on later visits.
- Email tracking pixels: tiny images in our marketing emails, sent through Mailchimp, that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies.
2. First-Party And Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are set by the Site itself. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we use on the Site, such as Google, Meta, and HubSpot. Third-party providers may be able to recognise your device on other websites that also use their services. How they use that information is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies, which are linked in section 6.
3. The Types Of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are needed for the Site to work and cannot be switched off. They remember your cookie choices, help keep the Site secure, and allow enquiry forms to be sent. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may then stop working.
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make so the Site works better for you, for example remembering that you have already seen our WhatsApp chat prompt.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site, including which pages are visited, how people move around the Site, where they arrive from, and where errors occur. We use this information to improve the Site. We use Google Analytics for this, and HubSpot, our customer relationship management platform, which also links your visits to the Site with any enquiry you send us so we can see which pages helped you before you got in touch. We only use analytics cookies with your consent.
Marketing Cookies
These cookies help us measure the results of our advertising, show our adverts to people who have already visited the Site, and avoid showing you the same advert too often. They are set by advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We only use marketing cookies with your consent.
4. Cookies We Use On The Site
The tables below list the main cookies used on the Site. Cookie names and durations are set by each provider and may change over time. We review this list regularly and update it when we add or remove a service.

5. Content From Other Websites
Some pages include content from other services, such as maps from Google Maps, and links to our Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts. These services may set their own cookies when you view that content or follow a link to their platform. We do not control those cookies, so please check the providers’ own policies.
6. Third-Party Cookie Policies
You can find more information about how our main providers use cookies here:
- Google (Analytics, Ads, and Maps): policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): facebook.com/privacy/policies/cookies
- HubSpot: legal.hubspot.com/cookie-policy
- Mailchimp: mailchimp.com/legal/cookies
7. Your Consent
When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always active. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them, and you can still use the Site if you decline.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent stops new non-essential cookies from being set, but it does not remove cookies already stored on your device. You can delete those through your browser settings, as explained in section 8.
8. Managing Cookies In Your Browser
Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies. If you block all cookies, parts of the Site may not work properly. Your browser’s help pages explain how:
You can also stop Google Analytics from collecting data on any website by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and find out more about interest-based advertising and how to opt out at Your Online Choices.
9. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies remain on your device only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it. Persistent cookies remain for the period shown in section 4, or until you delete them.
10. Changes To This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the services we use on the Site or when the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If we make significant changes, we may ask for your consent again.
